Hello there deviantART and all deviants!

My name is Dan, a.k.a. Hadarniel, and one day I had a question :?

Whatever happens to DD Suggestions that don't get featured?

First of all, for those who don't know:
FAQ #61: What is a Daily Deviation?

After finding out about them, some of us decided to do as it says in the last bits:
"...individual community members may direct their attention by noting the appropriate gallery director or staff member with your account name (for proper suggestion credit), a direct link to the deviation which you are suggesting and a brief description about why you think the work in question should be featured."

Unfortunately, not all of our suggestions make it through and become Daily Deviations, and they are simply stashed away

But then I had an idea!

Why not feature these deviations?
As DD Suggestions, they must be beautiful pieces, and deserve more love! :+favlove:

And that's how 'DD is for Don't Decline!' began!

Why 'Don't Decline'?

Well, just because a suggestion for a DD you made doesn't get featured as one doesn't mean that you should give up on it
Feature it with me, and let's help it and the artist get more recognition!
:handshake:

Psychedelic Dragons Rainbow Mandala by rebeccawangart
A rainbow of infinity, that's what rebeccawangart's Epiphany is. One of the best applications of color and detail I've ever seen in a drawing. Swirl after swirl after swirl, follow the coloful myriad of spirals and scales to a psychedelic journey.

Passionate Thinkers by 23rdAngel
23rdAngel's Passionate Thinkers is a striking character portrait. The pose and expression show a mighty confidence in our protagonist. But it is the colorplay of the image that awes me the most, red and blue in perfect balance in many levels, this is the first time I love that combination to a 100%

Looking at Lovely-Demented's Checkmate, I take a leap into the strategist's head as they play chess. The flawless symmetry of every square, added to the greyscale coloration of the image, create a silent atmosphere of concentration. Not to mention the raining boards showcasing the infinite possibilities and a sense of depth of mind. An intricate simplicity. Want to play?

In an unlikely union, LunarSymphony shows us that friendship and love have no bounds in Totem Spirits. With affective poses, matching gradients, and striking expression, we can see these two spirits bonding and becoming one, just as spiritualism and art have done so here.

ZEN GARDEN BLOSSOMS by love1008
Love at first sight is for real; it took only one glance for me to be completely infatuated by love1008's ZEN GARDEN BLOSSOMS. A beautifully enthralling artifact of gold becoming part of nature as a lovely garden of flowers grows into its cavities. Perfect harmony of nature and jewellry. It's just too good to pass up!

Harmony for Magnusti78 by johnnybg
I would like to suggest this beautiful gift that I was given by johnnybg. I'm amazed by its beauty and detail, and how well all the colours flow together... I just simply can't stop looking at it! It's like a woven story that never ends, the very essence of fractal art.

Sinner by KatiraMoon
With a graceful flow of colors and textures, Sinner has to be one of KatiraMoon's best drawings. The color is the most striking attribute, but the expression and feeling the sinner has are serene and appealing. Certainly, the sinner has to be a wildflower.

Twilight King by xLithium0509
I thought it was amazing how complementary the tiger's orange fur and the serene, starry background are in this piece. It has a somewhat mystical air to it, but at the same time portrays stunning realism. It's almost like you could reach in and pet the tiger - the fur looks so soft.

There's just so much depth, character and detail all crammed into one picture! It's hard to place my finger on exactly what's appealing, but it's not hard to see that Boofrickittyhoo is a simply amazing artist and this picture is, by far, one of her strongest ones.

Untitled 32 by George13
An unusually appealing representation of Light vs. Darkness has brought Untitled 32 to my favorites. George13's use of lighting and contrast, as well the arrangement of its very basic elements, work in perfect unison with the texture selection and striking composition. A total fractal wonder.

Can't believe it's not a photograph! And yet it's a drawing! While original fanarts are very cool, classic fan portraits can be awesome too. Certainly, MysticalDreams has created a breath-taking portrait in Queen Amidala that should not be overlooked. I'm no drawing expert, but even I know that this deviation is awesome.

Where the humans aren't by jonmelzey
A wild world of colors and diverse life forms awaits in Where the humans aren't. Upon viewing, you'll probably be dazzled by the myriad of colorful patterns and shapes, and will most likely remain staring. But the tables soon turn, because jonmelzey has turned the viewer into a show for the animals, with all those eyes staring at oneself. A bit creepy, yet what are we to do but continue to behold this beautiful and lively image?

It is outstanding how fractals can work as concept art and depict just about anything, and certainly chaotic-mimustock's BRIDAL DANCE is a lovely expression of marriage. The gentle shades of blue blend in peacefully while the softly curved lines grow graciously to a tune of love and balance. What an inspiring concept, and what a gorgeous fractal to illustrate it.

Pure Petals by gogirlanime
I think I've died and went to heaven, because gogirlanime has turned herself into an angel in Pure Petals. The lovely patterns around her eyes are positively beautiful, as well as the little jewels in the rest of her face. And her color choices - in a perfect combination - are celestial. If this isn't the face of an angel, it's the closest thing to one.

Fragments by theslider
This is the kind of thing I'd expect to see in an art gallery. It's strangely not uncommon, but at the same time unique, it goes beyond our depth of mind, yet it seems too simple. I can only describe it as a riddle of colors and meanings, truly philosophical.

Bask In The Rainbow by Asa-Vegodsky
A fragile beauty of color and harmony is what I see in Asa-Vegodsky's ~ Bask In The Rainbow. This one magical piece of his is wondrous; the seemingly magical use of lights and colors in perfect sync with the shapes and patterns are what make this fractal a gem you don't want to stop beholding.

The perfect night light! The most beautiful glow in the dark! That's what I see in moofied1's Rainbow Flutter. Dreamweaving is surely afoot in this mystical fractal, because creating a wonderful pair of rainbow wings isn't something anyone can do.

Peace and War by Duurs
This photograph will put you to think, the suggester writes:
"I believe this image to be a 'once in a lifetime' shot, because monks - who are all about peace - make an alluring contrast sitting in an holocaust monument. And while we're on contrasts, the orange stands out strongly in comparison to the gray surrounding it."
And I'd like to add that these monks may be there to remind us that no one is alive forever, that we should not fear death, but embrace it with dignity.

What a beautiful sight is fly_away by iTaylie. One usually expects a huge animal to be the most appealing, but this photo proves beauty can be found in all shapes and sizes. But what's most striking is the dynamic, yet warm, set of colors captured within. Elegant and lively, a lovely image.

Autumn Leaves by Humanis
A fantasy of contrasts comes to life in Autumn Leaves. In perfect sync, colors and symbols flow and grow in all directions, tapping into all kinds of forces. This powerful image conceals a thousand tales, and Humanis is the author.

GeaAusten has a talent to create works with an aura of mystery in them. And I can say that THE RAINBOW TRANSMISSION is not an exception. Although rainbows are a common subject in art, this untamed expression of one has a very unpredictable and celestial beauty. Although it looks very peaceful, I can't help but get the feeling that something is about to happen in there.  We oughta hand it to her, this is a powerful distortion of an everyday object!

The suggester writes, "I know what you think, this doesn't look like a fractal, but it is!", and it's not just a fractal, it's a very unusual and appealing one at that. The creator has shown incredible mastery of the program resulting Something in the Water that makes me want to see more!

Bola Floral by Yenkoff
Bola Floral is one of the best Apophysis marbles I have ever seen! Such a fine choice of coulours, and such great details. In my opinion, it belongs to the top Apophysis-made fractals. Yenkoff produces magnificent art, and his gallery should not be missed.

What I can't change by LithMyathar
LithMyathar has a very gorgeous collection of fractals, but I can't help but love What I can't change deviation the most. With a wonderfully cool and glossy lighting, combined with an elegant contrast of colors, and a lovely arrangement, this tunnel of marvels is a beautiful and soothing sight. It's what I can't change about it that makes me enjoy so much in this fractal.

For Better or for Worse 2 by Expercf
I have no doubt that Expercf's For Better or for Worse 2 was for better. It's impossible to miss the metallic elegance flawlessly etched along its mercury streams, although the magic ring in the center may be calling you too. I'm pretty sure Expercf has solved the mystery of Alchemy.

You Silky Thing by 21citrouilles
Charming, and lovely, You Silky Thing is a gorgeous spiral full of life. The blur is exceptionally managed, but the gradient is the most appealing, with wonderful color choices and a great use of contrast. Maybe 21citrouilles didn't realize it, but she almost put the whole year in there: Spring, summer, and autumn, they all are in there. It's a magical fractal.

Bubble Wave by ALP-Dreams
Looking at ALP-Dreams's Bubble Wave I just can't help to be entranced by the aquatic colors and the light bubbles that go down a neverending path. Such a mystical gradient and the misty effect of it all make this wave a spiritual experience that brings inner peace and cleanses our minds. Beautiful.

It's time to celebrate! What a cheerful and lively fractal firework is To Yenkoff. As colors burst to paint the nightsky, one can't help but be dazzled by their glimmering beauty. SelfMadeQueen has created a jolly gem of light, and best thing is, it's a piece of gift art!

If you thought you'd never see a coral reef up close, guess again. mystick777 has created a beautifully colorful design inspired by one of nature's wonders in Bottom of the Sea. A majestic parade of colors, curves, fans, creating a gorgeous fractal gem that makes you want to dance. Come, sing with me, Under the sea...

Given the fact that this is a beginning news project, most of the suggestions you've seen are the ones I've made. I'm still looking for people who suggest DD's often that would be willing to share the ones that didn't get featured to help this article grow, if you know anyone, do let me know. Thank you!

And special thanks to aleatha-q for the creative title!

On a last note, as you can see, most of the deviations featured here belong to the Fractal category. I'd like to expand it to as many categories as possible, but I need more suggestions from you. Care to help me out? =)
