To never forget the lights of my past, tiny stars kept safely inside, the little things that make who I am one day to be sent to the sky
This is a random piece of Gift art for =MischievousPooka Here's a little treasure box for you to put away those little smiles and sweet thoughts you live everyday.
Well, there's more than one software to create fractals, most common are Apophysis and Ultra Fractal, but since I use Apophysis and it's free (unlike UF), I'll guide you on that one
First, you need to download Apophysis 2.02, you can get it free at [link]
Then, to make 3D ones like the one I did, you need the 2.06 3D version, and while you're at it, you should get the 2.07 version too
Here's the thing, you need the 2.02 to run the other 2, so first 2.02, and then download the others if you want at [link]
Now, it's easy to start experimenting, just open the Editor screen and play around
this was the first tutorial I used [link]
And you can find many more at [link]
I hope that gets you to a good start
Um, let's see, I don't think I'm missing anything.
Well, one tip, when you render, select quality above 2000
Enjoy the wonders of fractal world!

There are a lot of themes that run through the stock gallery many people have similar ideas but they pull them off in different ways. In this series of newsletters we will look at similar ideas but different outcomes.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
